Description
This 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 SportsRoof is one of 1,628 produced for the model year, 50 of which were finished in Wimbledon White over a black vinyl interior with bucket seats. Power is provided by a 302ci V8, and additional factory features include a close-ratio four-speed manual transmission, a rear deck spoiler, power front disc brakes, and color-keyed racing mirrors. It has since been serviced with a new heater core, a brake system flush, carburetor tuning, and transmission work. The Boss 302 was styled by Larry Shinoda and can be distinguished from the base SportsRoof by the black â??hockey stickâ? accents and the absence of faux side scoops. Goodyear Polyglas GT tires are mounted on the 15â?³ Magnum 500 wheels. As standard, the Boss 302 was delivered with heavy-duty front and rear springs, revised dampers, and power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. The cabin is upholstered in black vinyl and features bucket seats, fold-down rear seats, and stainless steel door sills. A new heater core was also installed, along with a new blower motor and fan switch. Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and a five-digit odometer showing 76k miles. The 302-4V Boss V8 featured a four-bolt main block and was originally assembled with 10.
