Description
Work included a body-off repaint in blue and fitting color-matched fender flares as well as installation of a 351ci V8 and a floor-shifted three-speed manual transmission mated to a dual-range transfer case. Power steering and front disc brakes have been added, and additional equipment includes bucket seats upholstered in black, Alcoa 15? wheels, a 5½” suspension lift with dual front and rear shocks, a roll bar with a bikini top, a collapsible steering column, a dual exhaust system with tubular headers, a Holley carburetor, and a Dana 44 front axle. The body was removed from the frame and refinished in Ford Grabber Blue during the refurbishment in 2019, which also included replacement of the weatherstripping and repainting the bumpers satin black. Body-colored fender flares were fitted over the enlarged wheel openings, and a four-point roll bar with a Bestop bikini soft top was installed. Additional equipment includes side step bars and a raised hood insert as well as LED side markers and taillights. Polished Alcoa 15? wheels are mounted with 35×12. 50? BFGoodrich All Terrain KO2 tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the system includes braided stainless-steel lines as well as a chrome-finished booster and master cylinder. The ride height has been raised using a James Duff 5½” suspension lift kit that is complemented by an adjustable track bar, a James Duff steering stabilizer, polyurethane suspension and body bushings, and dual progressive-rate shocks at each corner. The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in black with a matching dash pad and door panels.
