1956 Chevrolet Corvette 3-Speed

Work included an exterior repaint in black, repainting the frame, reupholstering the interior, replacing the soft top fabric, refurbishing the bows, and overhauling the suspension and braking systems. Power is provided by a 265ci V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission, and features include chrome cove trim, 15â?³ wheels with polished covers, and a three-spoke steering wheel. The Corvette was updated in 1956, and changes included revised cove-sided bodywork and glass side windows. Instrumentation consists of a sweeping 140-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for temperature, battery charge, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles. The 265ci Turbo-Fire V8 features a chrome-plated air cleaner housing and Chevrolet-script valve covers.
