1955 Jaguar XK140 SE Roadster

The car is finished in white over a red leather interior, and power comes from a numbers-matching 3. 4-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. Specifications for the Special Equipment XK included a C-type cylinder head, driving lamps, dual exhausts, and wire wheels. The XK140 featured a full-width front bumper with overriders and a body-length chrome center spear, fittings not found on its predecessor the XK120. The SE model came with Lucas driving lamps mounted above the front bumper. Chrome 16� knock-off wire wheels wear Vredestein Sprint Classic tires, while a painted spare is reportedly mounted beneath the trunk floor. New rear shocks and U-joints were fitted in 2008, and a brake fluid flush was performed in 2016 along with installation of new axle seals and ball joints. A 2018 service included replacement of the brake master cylinder and wheel bearings as well as inspection of the wheel cylinders. The interior was retrimmed in red leather with matching carpets and door panels in June 2000, and was also fitted with lap belts. Dynamat sound deadener, new carpets, and a replacement wiring harness were installed in 2005.
