1965 Volvo P1800S

This 1965 Volvo P1800S was reportedly purchased new by a US naval officer and was picked up in Sweden via the Overseas Delivery Program. The car underwent a refurbishment between 2008 and 2011 that consisted of a repaint in its factory shade of Pearl White, reupholstering the black leather interior, and refinishing the chrome, along with overhauling the brakes and suspension. Power is provided by a numbers-matching 1. 8-liter B18B inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The car was disassembled and taken to bare metal before receiving body work and rust repair by Alan Auto of Portland, Maine beginning in 2008. A two-stage repaint was subsequently carried out in the factory shade of Pearl White, and work also included fitting a new windshield and body seals, as well as re-chroming the trim and bumpers.
