1991 Lotus Esprit X180R

Power comes from a 2. 2-liter DOHC inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and the car is finished in white over a charcoal interior. X180R features consist of a galvanized and reinforced steel backbone chassis, a roll cage, and Lotus Carlton fuel injectors as well as a revised engine management system and charge cooler. A new timing belt, thermostat, battery, cam cover gaskets, spark plugs, fuel filter, hoses, ignition harness, windshield, and tires were installed since 2018 along with fuel injector rebuilds, a brake fluid flush, and more. The white body features the softened angles of the Espritâ??s 1987 redesign by Peter Stevens, with a Kevlar-reinforced roof and fiberglass panels produced using vacuum-assisted resin injection. The X180R was built on a galvanized and reinforced steel backbone chassis and features a rear spoiler, side skirts, a five-vent front air dam, a removable sunroof panel, and World Challenge fender decals. Imperfections in the finish can be seen in detail in the gallery, and the power mirrors are inoperable. A new windshield was installed by the selling dealer in October 2018, and the pop-up headlights were rebuilt in August 2019. Three-piece 16â?³ Revolution alloy wheels wear BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp 2 tires with 2018 date codes. Braking is handled by AP Racing calipers at all four corners.
