Description
This 1989 Dodge Dakota is one of approximately 1,500 built with Shelby modifications including a 5. 2-liter V8, alloy wheels, and special interior and exterior trim. Finished in white over a burgundy and grey cloth interior, it also has a limited-slip differential, a sliding rear window, air conditioning, and a cassette stereo. Exterior revisions included a lower front air dam with fog lights, black bumpers and fender flares, a windshield visor, and a buttressed hoop over the bed, which has a ribbed plastic liner. The rear bumper has been refinished. Hollow-spoke 15â?³ alloy wheels are mounted with 225/70 Goodyear Eagle GT+4 tires. Anti-lock braking was standard, with discs up front and drums at the rear. The bench seat is trimmed in burgundy vinyl and velour with Shelby-pattern grey cloth inserts, and the cab has air conditioning, a cassette stereo, and a sliding rear window. The headliner is loose. A racing-style steering wheel with a â??CSâ? horn button frames a tachometer, a 125-mph speedometer, and a six-digit odometer showing 12k miles.
