This Backdraft Racing Roadster is a Shelby Cobra replica that was assembled in 2008 and is finished in blue with white stripes over black upholstery. Power comes from a 402ci Roush stroker V8 paired with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission. Features include 17? Halibrand-style wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, side-exit exhaust pipes, quick-jack bumperettes, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and an Alpine stereo. The Backdraft Roadster features fiberglass bodywork over a black powder-coated box frame with reinforced steel plates. The cockpit features low-back bucket seats trimmed in black upholstery with matching carpets. Equipment includes Crow Engineering harnesses, Backdraft Racing-branded pedals and floor mats, and an Alpine stereo and speakers fitted in the dash. The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts an upholstered dash panel with centralized VDO instrumentation that includes a 220-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer as well as readings for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. Approximately 1,400 miles are shown on the digital odometer. The 402ci Roush Racing ‘402R’ stroker V8 features a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, MSD ignition, and an electric cooling fan.
