The car is finished in Tuxedo Black with silver coves over red vinyl upholstery, and power comes from a numbers-matching fuel-injected 283ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a 3. 70:1 Posi-traction rear end. Features include a white soft top, factory hardtop, a heater, an electric clock, and a Wonderbar radio. An October 2019 service performed by Corvette Specialties of Wilsonville, Oregon, included rebuilds of the transmission, rear end, and steering box as well as the installation of a new clutch, tires, spark plugs, and ignition components. The 1961 Corvette was restyled with updated rear fiberglass bodywork inspired by GM design chief Bill Mitchell’s XP-700 show car.
