Description

This 1971 Jensen Interceptor Mk III was purchased new by Herman Sarkowsky, a co-founder of the Portland Trail Blazers and the Seattle Seahawks. The car remained in his possession until 1984 and remained in Washington State until it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2020. Power comes from a 383ci Chrysler V8 paired with a three-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission, and the car is finished in silver with a black vinyl roof over a blue leather interior. Features include air conditioning, power-assisted steering and brakes, power windows and locks, and a LearJet 8-track stereo. The Interceptor was styled by Carrozzeria Touring and featured a wrap-around rear window serving as a hatch over the cargo area. Spidering paint is noted on the hood. Factory 15? GKN wheels feature Jensen center caps and are mounted with 225/70 Performance Radial G/T tires. Power-assisted brakes and steering were equipped from the factory. The cabin is trimmed in blue leather with matching carpets, a black dashboard, and a burl wood center console panel. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows and locks, and a LearJet 8-track stereo.
