Description
This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette was produced at the St. Louis, Missouri plant on April 6th, 1960 and reportedly spent much of its life in Minnesota. Power is supplied by a numbers-matching 283ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and the car is finished in Honduras Maroon over black with a black soft top. Equipment includes a color-matched removable hard top, factory 15â?³ wheels, a limited-slip differential, a heater, and a Wonder Bar AM radio. Maintenance performed within the last two years included front suspension work, a brake system service, an alignment, and an oil change. The fiberglass body wears an older repaint in its factory shade of Honduras Maroon with white coves and features quad headlights, a curved-glass windshield, and bumper-exit exhaust outlets. Factory 15â?³ steel wheels wear covers with faux knock-off spinners and are wrapped with whitewall Goodyear Custom Super Cushion Classic tires that were mounted in 2004. Maintenance within the past two years reportedly included refurbishment of the rear wheel cylinders and replacement of the rear axle seals, front wheel cylinders, front brake hoses, kingpins and pivot pins. The bucket seats were refurbished with replacement black vinyl, springs, and foam in 2011. A reproduction dash pad has been fitted, and the center stack houses a Wonder Bar AM radio, heater controls, and an analog clock.
