1970 Mercedes-Benz 600

This 1970 Mercedes-Benz 600 is finished in metallic gray over black leather and is powered by a numbers-matching 6. 3-liter M100 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Factory equipment includes air conditioning, a Becker Grand Prix AM/FM radio, pneumatic air suspension, and a hydraulically powered sunroof, windows, locks, and seats. Work in February 2021 included replacement of the front motor mount, the left and right air chambers, and the rear air cell. The exterior of this standard-wheelbase 600 was repainted in Anthracite Gray (172 G) approximately 20 years ago, while the lower sections of the body were refinished in 2007 per the selling dealer. Chrome window trim, fender arches, mirrors, and bumpers accent the bodywork. The actuator for the automatic trunk was also replaced in 2007. Steel 15” wheels wear chrome hubcaps with body-colored accents and are wrapped in 235/75 Kumho tires that were installed in 2018. The pneumatic air suspension was overhauled by the selling dealer in 2007, while work in 2018 included replacing the front shocks and air valves as well as installing a rebuilt hydraulic accumulator. The left and right air chambers were replaced along with the rear air cell in February 2021.
