Description
Power is supplied by an A-code 289ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Finished in Arcadian Blue with a white convertible top, the car is equipped with a Pony interior, a full-length center console, front disc brakes, and styled steel wheels. A 2004 refurbishment included a repaint, rebuilds of the powertrain, and an interior refresh. Finished from the factory in Arcadian Blue (F), the car was disassembled and repainted by Perfection Collision of Ocala, Florida in 2004. GT-specific features include a grille bar with integrated fog lamps, lower body stripes in place of rocker moldings, and dual exhausts exiting from the rear valance. The GT badges on the front fenders are different colors from each other. Styled steel wheels are wrapped in 15? Firestone Firehawk tires in sizes 215/65 up front and 225/70 at the rear. Disc brakes are equipped up front. The interior features bucket seats trimmed in blue and white vinyl with embossed Pony trim on their backrests, faux wood veneers on the dashboard and full-length center console, and a Retrosound period-style modern radio fitted in place of the factory unit. Instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, amperage, and coolant temperature.
