Description

This 1971 BMW 2002 has been fitted with a 2. 3-liter S14 inline-four and a five-speed manual gearbox from a 1988 E30 M3. Supporting modifications include a Sachs clutch assembly, an E21 limited-slip differential and axle shafts, E21 front disc brakes and rear drums, Bilstein shocks, Eibach springs, a front air dam, BBS wheels, and more. The car has been refinished in Alpine White, and the cabin has been fitted with Recaro bucket seats that were reupholstered in black leather. This modified 2002 is now offered on consignment by the selling dealer in Canada with service records and receipts from 2005 onward, spare parts, an Aardvarc Racing manual, and transferable British Columbia registration. Features include M badges, a center-exit dual-tip exhaust, chrome trim, and a 2002 Turboâ??style front air dam that was sourced through BMW Germany. Silver-finished 15â?³ BBS wheels wear BMW center caps and are mounted with 205/50 Kumho Ecsta ASX tires. The braking system was borrowed from an E21 320i and features ventilated front discs with four-piston Girling calipers and rear drums. The suspension has been modified with Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks, a 23mm front sway bar, and an Ireland Engineering adjustable rear sway bar. The cabin features Recaro bucket seats also sourced from an E21, which were reupholstered in black leather to match the bolstered rear bench seat from an E24.
