1968 Ford Mustang Convertible 289

In 2015 the body was stripped, the exterior was refinished in its original Royal Maroon, and the interior was redone in a Deluxe-style white. Features include a white soft top, 14? wheels, front disc brakes, fog lights, quad exhaust outlets, a Holley carburetor, electronic ignition, exhaust headers, MagnaFlow mufflers, and a Philco AM radio. Service in fall of 2020 included changing the oil and lubricating the chassis. The car was delivered new in Royal Maroon (B) and was refinished in 2015, at which time rust was repaired in the bottoms of the rear quarter panels, the trunk lid and taillight panel were replaced, and quad exhaust outlets were added. Chrome-finished 14? Magnum 500-style wheels wear Mustang-logo center caps and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The car is equipped with front disc brakes, and service in 2020 included lubricating the chassis. The interior has been redone in Deluxe-style white over black carpeting and features bucket seats with headrests, woodgrain trim on the door panels and dashboard, and a Philco AM radio. The weatherstripping, dash pad, heater core, and heater box were replaced during the 2015 refurbishment, at which time the trunk was seam-sealed. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The 289ci C-code V8 was rated at 195 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque when new.
