Boss V8-Powered 1947 Ford Super Deluxe Sedan Street Rod

This 1947 Ford Super Deluxe was built by Roseville Rod and Custom in 2015  and is powered by a 302ci Ford Racing Boss V8. Finished in silver over quilted red leather, the car has also been modified with an aluminum driveshaft, a four-link rear suspension, a Heidts Mustang II-style front suspension, QA1 shocks, an Accuair air ride system, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, staggered diameter Budnik wheels, Borla mufflers, Adjure Prizm Trillient headlights, a louvered hood, custom chrome bumpers, keyless power locks, power windows, a VintageAir HVAC system, a tilt steering column, and a custom stereo. Service in August 2022 included rebuilding the rear end and replacing the spark plugs, ignition components, and a battery. Dubbed â??The Boss,â? the car was a finalist for Goodguysâ??s Americaâ??s Most Beautiful Street Rod in 2015 and was named a Top 100 Car by Street Rodder Magazine in 2017. The car was painted silver by Roseville Rod and Custom during the 2015 build. Styling includes custom chrome bumpers, single-piece door glass, dual side-view mirrors, a cowl vent, hood louvers, and Adjure Prizm Trillient motorcycle headlights. The staggered-diameter Budnik Muroc III wheels are mounted with 225/45ZR18 front and 245/40ZR20 rear Nitto NT555 Extreme tires. A custom four-link rear suspension setup and a Heidts Mustang II front suspension system were added along with QA1 shocks at all four corners. An Accuair E-Level air ride system is fitted along with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering. Braking is provided by a power-assisted Wilwood master cylinder and polished calipers over slotted and cross-drilled rotors up front and cross-drilled rotors out back.
