1956 MG MGA Roadster

This 1956 MGA roadster was refurbished over two years beginning in 2009 with a repaint in Old English White, chassis reconditioning, installation of new braking and suspension components, new red Connolly leather upholstery, and more. Originally Tyrolite Green with an Ice Blue soft top, the car was repainted in Old English White and fitted with a replacement black soft top during the refurbishment. Noted blemishes include two tears in the soft top as well as paint chips on the front valance. Chrome 15â?³ 68-spoke knock-off wire wheels are mounted with Firestone whitewall tires. Braking is from drums at all four corners, which were reportedly serviced in September 2019. A red tonneau cover is shown covering the cabin in the gallery. The 1,489cc inline-four features twin SU carburetors and drives the rear wheels via a four-speed manual gearbox. Service in September 2019 included installation of an alternator, a new fuel line, and underhood insulation.
