1972 DeTomaso Pantera

Power comes from a 351 Cleveland V8 that is mounted aft of the passenger compartment and sends power to the rear wheels through a ZF 5-speed manual transaxle. An oil change was completed last month, and the car received a valve adjustment within the past 2k miles. This Pantera is sold with a clean Pennsylvania title. 1972 saw the introduction of the plastic-bumper Lusso cars, but this Pantera pre-dates their introduction and wears the smaller 2-part chrome bumpers front and rear. The black plastic chin spoiler is an aftermarket piece. 15� Campagnolo alloys appear to be free of curbing and retain DeTomaso center caps. The bubble script rocker decal differs from the GTS-style designs typically seen on these cars. The interior appears unrestored and shows wear and fading on the carpets along with some surface corrosion on the edges of the shifter gate. Aftermarket speakers are mounted in the doors and controlled by a contemporary head unit mounted vertically in the center stack. Black vinyl seats appear to have held up well, with no cracks or splits visible in photos. 45,053 miles are shown on the odometer, which is believed accurate. An auxiliary electric fan was installed to aid cooling. An oil change was performed last month. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed ZF transaxle mounted aft of the engine.
