Description
Work performed in the time since included rebuilding the carburetors, tachometer, and clutch slave cylinder as well as installing a puller electric fan and replacing the water pump, engine hoses, clutch master cylinder, battery, front shocks, front coil spring blades, and hood supports. The car is powered by a 3. 5-liter Rover V8 paired with a Moss four-speed manual transmission and is finished in red with black fenders over black upholstery. Additional equipment includes Lucas driving lamps, a chrome rear luggage rack, 15â?³ cast alloy wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, independent front suspension, a limited-slip differential, and dual SU carburetors. Exterior features include chrome bumpers, Lucas driving lamps, a badge bar, a leather hood strap, a center-hinged louvered hood, triple wipers, a driverâ??s side mirror, a chrome rear luggage rack, and dual fuel fillers. The turn signals are inoperative due to a broken switch, the windshield washer bottle and pump are missing, and a convertible top framework is installed, but the soft top, side curtains, and tonneau cover are also absent. Close-up photos depicting paint chips and scratches can be viewed in the gallery. Silver-finished 15â?³ cast alloy wheels are wrapped in 185-width Vredestein Sprint Classic tires showing 2008 date codes, and a matching spare with a Dunlop SP Sport tire is mounted at the rear. Suspension consists of an independent front with coil springs and Koni shocks while the rear employs a live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs and Armstrong lever-type hydraulic dampers. Braking is handled by power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drums.
