1970 Jaguar XKE Series II Roadster

It is finished in Opalescent Silver Blue over dark blue leather upholstery and is powered by a numbers-matching 4. 2-liter inline-six fitted with triple SU carburetors and mated with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes Pertronix electronic ignition, a four-row radiator, a black soft top, chrome knock-off wire wheels, and an aftermarket stereo. Exterior details include chrome bumpers with overriders, exposed headlights, a louvered hood, twin polished exhaust outlets, and a black boot cover. A crack in the brazed joint of the left-front subframe was repaired by Steve’s Jaguar Service of Canoga Park, California in July 2016. A flannel car cover and tonneau cover are included in the sale. Chrome-finished 15” wire wheels wear two-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with 185-width Vredestein Sprint ST tires. The upper and lower control arm bushings were replaced in addition to the sway bar mounts and end-link bushings in July 2016. The brake master cylinder was also resealed at that time, while the steering column was repaired and the rack overhauled in 2013. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs.
