Description
It is a late 56 so it has a factory 12 volt wiring and a syncronized 3rd and 4th gear in the NP420 4 speed transmission. The engine is a good running, easy starting factory 230 flathead with a rebuilt carb, generator and re-cored original radiator (radiator cost $1000 and was done this year). If you know these, I don't have to tell you it tops out around 45 MPH. It does what it should to get there and then stop. Steering and brakes are very good for a 1956 mostly original truck. They would be quite blek for something manufactured after 1980. Tires all hold air. This truck is originally from California and has no bad metal or rot or repair. It has lots of original paint so nothing is hidden either like a shiny bucket covering up patches and rot. Most lights and gauges work....fuel gauge and wipers do not. Seat looks good. Headliner is good for 1956. 4wd works as it should. Original winch works well but engaging collar must be moved w bar as the oem mechanism is not there. I have one on order with Vintage power Wagons. If it comes in before it sells i will include it.
