Description
This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe underwent a refurbishment by Hot Rods By Dean of Phoenix, Arizona that was completed in 2016. The car is finished in charcoal gray over a black and gray interior and is equipped with a replacement LS3 376ci V8 crate engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a Truetrac limited-slip differential. Additional modifications include a 2½” exhaust system, staggered-diameter wheels, Detroit Speed suspension components, Wilwood disc brakes, Vintage Air climate control, and a JVC touchscreen infotainment system. Delivered new in Island Teal (F), the body was repainted in a two-stage charcoal gray urethane finish during the refurbishment. Features include front and rear spoilers, a Goodmark cowl-induction hood scoop, Ringbrothers door handles, and matte-black stripes. Staggered-diameter Schott Mach V wheels feature a bronze finish and are fitted with Nitto NT555 tires measuring 245/45R-17 in the front and 295/45R-18 at the rear. Wilwood disc brakes are fitted at all four corners, and the vehicle is also equipped with a Saginaw quick-ratio steering box. The two-tone interior was redone by Hot Rod Interiors by Glenn in Glendale, Arizona and features front and rear bucket seats that have been reupholstered in black with suede inserts. Additional features include matching door panels and headliner trim, an American Autowire wiring harness, and a D-shaped Billet Specialties Camber steering wheel fitted to an Ididit column. A Vintage Air climate-control system is fitted, and a JVC stereo system is mounted within the custom-fabricated center console.
