Description
3-liter Vortec V6, a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, a 9â?³ rear end, and a Mustang II-style independent suspension. The truck was repainted in the metallic gray and the cab was fitted with a bench seat trimmed in gray upholstery along with a VintageAir climate control system, a tilt steering column, and VDO gauges. Additional equipment includes an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and intake manifold, power front disc brakes, power-assisted steering, 15â?³ Speedway Motors steel wheels, LED turn signals, and fiberglass rear fenders. The cab was chopped 3â?³ and fiberglass rear fenders were installed before the truck was painted metallic gray during the refurbishment. Equipment includes a black front bumper, a rear roll pan, LED lighting, dual side-view mirrors, black and white pinstripes, and running boards. Black 15â?³ Speedway Motors steel wheels wear chrome baby moon hubcaps, and they are mounted with 195/60 Goodyear Viva 3 front tires and 225/70 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T rubber out back. The truck rides on a Heidtâ??s Mustang II-style independent front suspension with power steering as well as a live rear axle with leaf springs. Braking is provided by power front disc brakes and rear drums. The cab was fitted with a Teaâ??s Design bench seat trimmed in gray upholstery during the build, and it is joined by a color-coordinated headliner, door panels, and carpets. A VintageAir climate control system is mounted in a custom lower dash panel, and the hood release has been relocated to the passenger-side of the firewall.
