1968 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 Blue

Beautiful Street/Strip/High end driver 1968 Chevelle 300 post. Frame off restoration completed 6 years ago by previous owner. 1900 miles on car since. Most everything on car was new or rebuilt during the restoration. Car is highly detailed top and bottom. Lots of paperwork. Nice straight very slick Fathom blue base coat clear coat (cars original color) with two tone corvette white top. Gorgeous brand new (last month) interior done in factory Ivory. Dash pad is mint. New headliner installed at same time. Car had a sunroof but was patched when car was being restored. Simpson racing harnesses. Passenger side very tight to plug in. Fat mat sound deadener on floor and roof. Custom dash with all Auto meter gauges. Car does not have a back seat. Roll cage trimmed in Ivory. Just to many details to list but here is a basic rundown. Power disc brakes no power steering. Shaved firewall. Five inch cowl fiberglass hood on hinges with hood pins. Engine is 454 BB 4 bolt main marine block 30 over 11:1 with all good internals with Brodix Race Rite aluminum heads filled with goodies. Engine was built by a Nascar engine builder. I do have paperwork including cam card. Edelbrock polished tunnel ram with 2 Holley 750's. Engine was built for NOS and to run on pump gas 93. NOS has never been on car and is currently spoiled with a 50/50 mix of 93 and C12. Hooker Super Comp long tube headers. New Pypes 3" complete exhaust with X pipe. New Muncie Autogear M23 4speed with Hurst competition plus shifter and linkage. Line lock. Lakewood scatter shield. Centerforce clutch. New driveshaft. New Powder coated Fab 9 rear with Auburn true track with 3:89 gear. Car has 15 gallon fuel cell with battery in trunk with shut off. Car was completely rewired and has a 20 circuit fuse block. I think its a Painless wiring system.. MSD 6AL. Frame has been boxed in for extra strength. All chrome and bright work excellent. Everything in car works except dome light needs a bulb. Horn, wipers, fuel gauge, speedometer, lights ect... Car has brand new Mickey Thompson DOT drag radials on steelie rims. Can't go anywhere without people taking pictures thumbs up and questions. A blast to drive. Take it to cruise nights or take it to the track. It won't disappoint. Included with the car are the matching Cragar SS rear rims with good 275 tires mounted and Harwood fiberglass bumpers painted to match the car. Comes with the original Protecto plate and owners manual. Lots and lots of paperwork. Car has never seen the track.
