1956 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible

Work included a color change to Taupe, reupholstering the interior in coral and white leather, adding front disc brakes, and fitting a custom audio system. Power is provided by a 365ci V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, and additional equipment includes a white power-operated soft top, 15? steel wheels with custom hubcaps, a painted grille, gold badging, and an Autronic Eye headlight dimmer. Recent maintenance included rebuilding the carburetor and servicing the brakes. The car was refurbished and modified by Chip Foose and his team in 2006 during the fourth season of the television show Overhaulin’. Body work was performed before a color change to Taupe was carried out. The grille was painted gold and gold badging was also added. 15? steel wheels feature chrome hubcaps with hand-painted accents and wear older whitewall tires. Power steering was included from the factory, and Hyrdaboost front discs brakes were added during the modification process. The interior color scheme was designed by Foose with white leather upper seatbacks and contrasting coral leather and matching carpets. Additional equipment includes a dark gray leather-covered dashboard, power windows, climate control, and a dash-mounted Autronic Eye headlight dimmer.
