695-Mile 1985.5 Porsche 944

This 1985. This 944 is finished in Garnet Red Metallic (code S2) and is equipped with standard US-market bumpers and lighting, along with optional door rub strips. Clear plastic protective panels have been retained and are mounted aft of each wheel arch and in front of the rear wheels. The stock Phone Dial wheels are fitted with correctly-sized Pirelli P6. A second set of Phone Dial wheels with modern tires is also included. The cabin features several desirable options, most notably the deeply-bolstered sport seats with cloth Porsche-script centers. The door panels are upholstered in matching Porsche-script fabric. The correct 363mm leather-rimmed steering wheel and Blaupunkt Monterey radio are still present as noted by the window sticker and CoA. The failure-prone digital dash clock is working, and the screen is still dark and clear. Whenever this car was shown it was trailered to the location. The 2. 5L inline-four is unmodified and sends power to a rear-mounted 5-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Note the intact coatings on the bolts, brackets, and other underhood hardware. The original hood pad has been replaced as the foam was beginning to deteriorate. An issue is noted with the third gear synchro during downshifts. The original window sticker and purchase agreement are included, and the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity is included in the gallery.
