Description
The car was then dismantled, the chassis was modified using aluminum floors and a replacement wood frame, and a 3. 9-liter Rover V8 was installed. Additional equipment includes a five-speed manual transmission, an MGB-sourced rear axle, a Holley 450-cfm carburetor, an aluminum radiator, side-exit exhaust pipes, Western Bullet 15â? wheels, and front disc brakes with a Wilwood dual master cylinder. Finished in blue with black fenders and white stripes, the car also features a roll bar, aluminum bucket seats, maroon upholstery, a wood dashboard, and aftermarket instrumentation. The body panels were removed and repaired during the aforementioned build, and they are mounted to a replacement wood frame from Morgan Spares in Copake, New York. The firewall was modified, and the transmission tunnel and floors were fabricated from 3/16â? aluminum plate before the car was reassembled and painted blue with black fenders, white stripes, and number roundels accented in red. Further details include a louvered hood, a Raydyot-style side mirror, a roll bar, and side-exit exhaust outlets. This is a relist after the vehicle was previously listed on BaT in April 2024 and was withdrawn due to a mechanical issue. The previously installed Triumph TR4 axle was replaced with an MGB-sourced axle and the five-speed manual transmission was overhauled. The driveshaft was also rebuilt and the rear brake components were replaced.
