In 1997-1998, the body and interior were treated to a professional cosmetic restoration in their factory colors of Colorado Red over Grey. Rolling stock consists of non-original chrome 60-spoke Dayton wire wheels with new knock-off hubs, splines, bearings, and seals. They are wrapped in older Michelin ZX radials with good tread, while the trunk contains a matching spare wheel/tire as shown in the photo gallery. Notable flaws consist of an area that bubbled on the boot lid after several years and a few paint nicks on the left-front fender caused by a falling fluorescent light tube. Two small pits are shown in the driverâ??s door glass. Interior refurbishment included new leather upholstery from Sports and Classics, a carpet kit, trunk kit, and various other components. All instrumentation, lighting, and features are noted to be in working order and all factory interior trim is present. In 2011, the transmission was rebuilt and received a new clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing. The car has only been driven a few hundred miles since 2011 and the last engine oil and filter change was completed roughly one year and 200 miles ago.
