Description
GT-style modifications were made and the body was refinished in metallic blue, the interior was reupholstered with white vinyl, and a 289ci V8 and Ford Racing T5 five-speed manual transmission were installed. Additional modifications include a Richmond differential with a 3. 55:1 final drive, an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, a Holley four-barrel carburetor with electric choke, a PerTronix electronic distributor, air conditioning, a third brake light, front three-point seat belts, KYB shocks, a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers, 16? S197 Mustang aluminum wheels, and power-assisted steering and front disc brakes. An oil change and chassis lubrication were performed in November 2020. A GT-style rear valance and grille with fog lights were fitted, the inner fenders, rockers, doors, and quarter panels were treated with Waxoyl, and the exterior was refinished in metallic blue using PPG products. Features include dual twin-exit exhaust tips, a third brake light mounted behind the rear window, and dual mirrors. The 16? alloy wheels were sourced from a 2007 Mustang and are mounted with BFGoodrich Traction T/A tires. The front suspension was fitted with a replacement idler arm pivot, ball joints, bushings, springs, and tie rod ends during the refurbishment, while the rear received new springs and bushings. KYB shocks were fitted at all four corners. The power-assisted steering system features a Borgeson steering gear, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, with replacement components including calipers, rotors, hoses, wheel cylinders, pads, shoes, and parking brake cables.
