Description
The car spent time in Ohio and Washington State before undergoing a refurbishment and being acquired by the selling dealer in 2019. Power comes from a replacement 428ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and the car is finished in Lime Gold over black vinyl. Factory equipment includes power-assisted steering and front disc brakes, the Extra Cooling package, an AM radio, and more. The Shelby convertible featured a standard roll bar and was differentiated from the stock Mustang by its fiberglass front clip, quarter panel extensions, side scoops, deck lid spoiler, and Thunderbird taillights with sequential turn signals. The power-operated black soft top features a glass rear window and can be seen raised and lowered. Steel wheels wear Shelby five-spoke wheel covers and 15â?³ Goodyear Speedway white-letter tires. Power-assisted steering and front disc brakes were equipped from the factory along with wheel lip moldings. The black vinyl interior features matching carpets as well as woodgrain trim on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Features include the Visibility Group, the Interior Decor Group, lap belts with front shoulder harnesses, and an AM radio. A two-spoke steering wheel with simulated wood trim frames instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a five-digit odometer showing just under 18k chassis miles.
