1979 Mercedes-Benz Unimog 421 Flatbed

4-liter OM616 turbodiesel inline-four. Features include gray cloth-upholstered bucket seats and a rear bench, black 20? wheels with a spare mounted to the flatbed, air brakes, side steps, front and rear winches, an LED light bar, and rear hitch receivers. Service in April 2021 included adjusting the brakes, changing the oil, rebuilding the clutch cylinder, and replacing the hydraulic clutch lines as well as the fuel filter. The front winch utilizes compressed air, while the Warn winch mounted adjacent to the spare tire in the bed is an electronic unit. An aftermarket light bar has been added above the front winch, and five hitch receivers are located at the rear. Black-finished 20? six-lug steel wheels were mounted with 275/80 Continental MPT81 tires approximately 10 years ago; the spare is a directional Dunlop tire. The brake lines were replaced and the air system was cleaned at that time. In April 2021 the brakes were adjusted in preparation for the sale. The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench with gray cloth upholstery, while the bare orange-finished floors are fitted with rubber liners. Various decals and labels are affixed around the cabin, including a guide in German for the four shift levers between the seats.
