Description
The chrome bumpers and power-operated white soft top were replaced more recently. There is a nickle-sized ding to the right of the gas cap. The brakes were also reportedly serviced. Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer flanked by fuel-level and water-temperature gauges. The 289ci V8 was factory rated at 200 horsepower, which is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. A dress-up kit was also installed. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery. The replacement warranty number is consistent with a 1965 Mustang convertible that was built in Dearborn, Michigan, and equipped with a 289ci V8.
