1962 Austin-Healey 3000 Roadster

Refinished in Colorado Red over a black interior with red piping, the car also received a complete rebuild of its 2. 9-liter C-series inline-six, which breathes through triple SU carburetors and is mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. The car is now being offered with a black soft top, tonneau cover, side curtains, and a clean Tennessee title. Chassis #13886 was originally finished in black over a red interior. The 15� chrome 72 spoke wire wheels wear Dunlop rubber, and rebuilds of the braking and suspension systems were also performed during the restoration. A new soft top was installed during the restoration, and all brightwork was re-plated or replaced. Perimeter trim around the cockpit was refinished and anodized, and the interior has been reupholstered in black with red piping. The 2+2 configuration includes two small back seats, and replacement lap-belts have been installed as seen above. Triple SU carburetors came on the Mark II Healey for homologation purposes, and in conjunction with a hotter cam helped the 2. 9-liter inline-six produce 132 horsepower when new. The 4-speed manual gearbox is equipped with a Laylock de Normanville overdrive and was rebuilt during the restoration. Braking is handled by Girling discs up front and drums in the rear.
