Description
Power is supplied by a 1. 8-liter M42 inline-four equipped with individual throttle bodies and paired with a five-speed Getrag manual transmission. Other modifications include Turbo-style fender flares, a Zender rear spoiler, Ireland Engineering coilover suspension and front brakes, Compomotive 15? wheels, Recaro LS seats, an Autopower roll cage, and a UUC shifter. Exterior equipment consists of a short-style rear bumper, pop-out rear windows, a Turbo-style front air dam and fenders, European-market turn signals, a pop-up sunroof, and a Zender rear spoiler. Compomotive 15? wheels with gray centers and polished lips are mounted with staggered-width Federal 595 RS-RR tires. Suspension modifications include Ireland Engineering coilovers, IE front and rear sway bars, polyurethane bushings, and a replacement steering box. Wheel hubs sourced from an E21 are fitted up front, as are Ireland Engineering disc brakes. A set of E21-style drums are equipped at the rear. The cabin features dark blue Recaro LS seats with a Corbeau harness for the driver as well as a replacement headliner, door panels, and carpets. The rear bench seat has been removed to accommodate the Autopower bolt-in roll cage, and additional equipment includes billet-style door handles and window cranks, sun visors from an E30 BMW, and a UUC shifter.
