This 1963 Volkswagen Beetle convertible underwent refurbishment approximately 15 years ago and is powered by an air-cooled 1,776cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. The car is finished in red with a white convertible soft top and boot and features 15â?³ steel wheels, Coker classic wide whitewall tires, drum brakes, fluted headlight lenses, and a lockable shifter, hood release, and glove compartment as well as dual carburetors, a 12-volt electrical system, and tapered exhaust tips. The body is finished in red with a white convertible soft top and boot and features fluted headlight lenses, dual side-view mirrors, European-specification turn signal and taillight lenses, dual tapered exhaust outlets, and chrome bumpers with overriders. The 15â?³ steel wheels are mounted with 5. 60-15 Coker Classic wide whitewall tires, and they are finished in black and wear polished trim rings and chrome hubcaps with Wolfsburg crest logos. The tires, steering bushing, brake master cylinder, shoes, and wheel cylinders were replaced in February 2024. The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in white vinyl and are joined by color-coordinated door panels and black carpeting. The hood release handle has been relocated closer to the steering column and is fitted with a locking handle. Additional interior elements include a locking shifter base and glove box latch, front shoulder belts, rear lap belts, a heater, and an inoperative Bendix Sapphire II push-button AM/FM radio. The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring with a Wolfsburg crest center cap and frames a 90-mph VDO speedometer and a Magura fuel level gauge.
