Description
This 1955 Buick Roadmaster is a four-door sedan that underwent a body-off refurbishment during the 1990s and was kept on display at the Dauer Museum of Classic Cars in Sunrise, Florida prior to its acquisition out of an interim collection by the selling dealer in 2013. The car is finished in green with a white roof over a white vinyl and green fabric interior, and power is provided by a 322ci Fireball V8 mated to a two-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, a power-adjustable front seat, wire wheels, whitewall tires, and a power antenna. The body is finished in Belfast Green with a Dover White roof (BLL) and features a built-in external sun visor, a chrome grille ensemble with bumper bullets, a chrome rear bumper with overriders, front fender Ventiports, full-length sweepspear side moldings, chrome quarter-panel gravel guards, backup lights, and a power antenna. The selling dealer notes the presence of a dent in the lower right rocker panel, which can be viewed in the photo gallery along with close-ups of other body panels and trim. Chrome-finished 15? wire wheels are fitted with knock-off center nuts and Coker Classic tubeless whitewall tires. A matching spare is stored in the trunk. The interior is trimmed in Ivory Cordaveen with Dark Green patterned nylon inserts and contrasting piping, a matching two-tone dashboard and door panels, and green carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning, a four-way power-adjustable front seat, an electric clock, and a Selectronic AM radio that features a selectivity switch for seeking stations by signal strength and operates by toe-button or finger-tip control. The air conditioning is noted to be inoperative.
