With 232/240 duration and 560/579? lift, it has a lumpy idle and is conservatively rated in the 430+ horsepower range. The TH400 transmission is fully rebuilt with a 10? high stall converter, upgraded Sprague and a performance shift kit. The 12 bolt rear end housing was fully gone through with new bearings, seals, and a 4.10:1 Posi carrier.
