Description

This 1961 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk2 is a four-seat roadster that was built in December 1961 and dispatched to the US in January 1962. Finished in white and black over a black interior, the car is powered by a 2. 9-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Additional features include a black hardtop, a stainless-steel exhaust system, PerTronix electronic ignition, an oil cooler, CD stereo, power-assisted front disc brakes, and more. Factory-finished in black and red, the car was refinished in white with a black lower section during the refurbishment in the early 1990s. Brightwork includes fender beading, hood scoop trim, and front and rear bumpers with overriders. A black hardtop and matching vinyl tonneau cover will accompany the vehicle, along with a rear luggage rack as pictured in the gallery. The power antenna is inoperable, and the included black soft top reportedly contains several holes and does not fit properly. The 15” stainless steel 72-spoke wire wheels are equipped with knock-off hubs and are wrapped in Vredestein Comtrac tires sized 195/70. The brake system features power-assisted front discs and rear drums that were reportedly overhauled with replacement axle seals in 2016.
