Description
This 1951 Jaguar XK120 Fixed Head Coupe is finished in red over tan leather and is powered by a 3. 4-liter inline-six mated to a T5 five-speed manual transmission. The car was refurbished by KJ Jags of Boerne, Texas in 2008, and more than $6k worth of service in 2020 included replacing the harmonic balancer and the crankshaft pulley as well as rebuilding the carburetors and the distributors. The red finish was applied in mid-2008 and is a color change from the original Birch Grey. This FHC features flip-out rear quarter windows, a leather hood strap, and dual fender-mounted outside mirrors. Chrome-finished 16â?³ wire wheels with knock-off hubs wear Continental ContiProContact tires in size 205/65. The left-hand-drive interior has been trimmed in tan leather with matching door panels and carpets. The black four-spoke steering wheel fronts a burl-wood dash, and additional wood trim is located at the top of the door panels. A chrome rearview mirror sits atop the dash. The centrally located instruments include a reverse-sweep tachometer with an integrated clock, a 140-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges.
