Description

1970 'Cuda. Custom candy paint job with ghost strobe stripes. Always climate controlled, garage kept. The Odometer reads 34232, but it has less than 3500 miles on it since restore. Title reads 130753. Does not leave the garage unless the roads are clean and dry. It is a factory electric windows, power steering, power brakes car. The rebuild started with glass bead blasting to reveal any problems to be repaired. It was then painted with a two part epoxy to seal it. The bottom was painted with raptor bed liner to deaden and insulate. The same was done inside quarters, doors and fenders. It was then painted with House of Colors paints. It is a beautiful paint job and I am very proud of it. Mechanically it was completely rebuilt. Every bearing, bushing, ball joint, etc. was replaced. The rear end is a 4:10 posi which has been gone through by myself, and two separate professionals. The second being an old Certified Chrysler Tech who still had the specialty tools to set it up. I can still hear a little back lash honestly. The motor is not original. It was completely rebuilt and the rotating assembly is balanced to 7000 RPMs. The compression ratio must be close to 12:1 but I run non ethanol 91 and it does not ping. It had A/C from the factory, but I removed it after the first summer. I still have it if you want it. It's cooled by a three core aluminum radiator and two electric fans. It has an MSD ignition installed and I have the original as well. The transmission is a Tremec 600 HP 5 speed run by a Science Friction hydraulic clutch. The exhaust is a stainless steel Pypes cross flow. It sounds awesome. It had headers on it but they hung too low, so the exhaust manifolds were put back on. I lost some HP, but the exhaust is up where it belongs. You will notice that you don't see the windshield wipers. They are installed low so the are not visible. I don't like them in sight and the car is never in need of them. You will also notice no fog lights or cat catcher. That's because they are ugly. The windows have all been tinted to the state allowable minus the windshield of course. The marker lights have also been tinted to blend them into the color of the car better. Which brings up the emblems missing from the hood. I have them, but they look bad against the paint job.
