Description
Approximately 40k miles have been added since, including on a European tour bookended by cross-USA round trips the following year. Power is from a replacement 346ci flathead V8 that was rebuilt in 2002 and is paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Details include rear suicide doors, wood and mohair interior trim, aftermarket audio components, and a custom bar compartment. Driveline fluid changes were carried out in 2018 along with a coolant flush and installation of two Optima six-volt batteries. The Series 75 was penned by Harley Earl and introduced for the 1936 model year with bodies by both Fisher and Fleetwood. Details include a die-cast egg-crate grille, a long-haired Goddess hood ornament, rear coach doors, and dual covered spare wheels. Chips, scratches, and dings can be seen around the body along with rust on the running boards. The car rides on a 138? wheelbase over red steel 16? wheels wearing Lester wide-whitewall tires installed in 2009. Suspension consists of control arms with coil springs and a sway bar up front as well as a solid rear axle with leaf springs. Hydraulic drum brakes are featured at both ends.
