Description
It was subsequently refurbished prior to its importation to the US in August 2020. The exterior was refinished in red, the electrical system was upgraded, the braking system was overhauled, the wicker seating was replaced, and the twin was rebuilt and enlarged to 595cc and paired with a synchronized four-speed manual transaxle sourced from a Fiat 126. Features include replacement 12? silver-painted steel wheels, bullet-style side mirrors, leather trim, and a red-and-white striped top. This Jolly conversion is now offered in New Jersey with importation documents, partial records, and a Vermont registration document. Features include chrome bumpers and tubular trim, bullet-style side mirrors, and a removable red-and-white striped top mounted on a stainless-steel frame. The refreshed interior features replacement wicker seats, charcoal carpets and floor mats, and a steering wheel and passenger-side grab handle trimmed with tan leather. Instrumentation includes a Veglia 130-km/h speedometer and a five-digit odometer showing under 50 kilometers (~30 miles). True mileage is unknown. The twin was reportedly rebuilt and enlarged to 595cc during the refurbishment, and is shown running here and here. Additional refurbishment photos can be viewed in the gallery.
