1974 DeTomaso Pantera

The car is finished in orange over a black interior and is equipped with a 351ci Cleveland V8 paired with a ZF five-speed manual transaxle. The Lusso Pantera features rubberized bumpers as mandated for the US market in 1972. Front and rear disc brakes are equipped. The seats are trimmed in black upholstery and accompanied by a color-matching dashboard, center console, and replacement carpeting. Features include a dogleg-pattern gated shifter, power windows, and a Becker Europa II AM/FM radio mounted vertically in the center stack. The ignition switch was recently replaced. Veglia Borletti instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer, and gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are housed within the center-stack. The five-digit odometer shows 52k miles. The Ford-sourced 351ci V8 was rated at 266 horsepower at 5,400 rpm and 301 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm when new, and records show that it was rebuilt in 1987. Power is sent rearward through a ZF five-speed manual transaxle.
