The car rides on a lowered suspension with Bilstein dampers and revised upper and lower control arms along with 16â?³ five-spoke wheels mounted over power front disc brakes. The cabin was outfitted with later-model front bucket seats, a replacement headliner, door panels, carpets, and dash pad, and a Kenwood Bluetooth head unit, and the exterior is finished in metallic blue. The right-front fender was refinished to address rust repair, and paint variation between the panel and the rest of the vehicle is noted. The exterior trim has been replaced, and close-up photos of the paint, trim, and imperfections are detailed in the gallery. Five-spoke 16â?³ Vintage Wheel Works wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact DW tires with Goodyear sidewall lettering. The suspension was overhauled in 2014 with a 1â?³ front sway bar, replacement upper and lower control arms, Bilstein dampers, lowering springs, and revised spring perches. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums, and the car is equipped with a Street or Track Unisteer power steering system. The manually adjustable front bucket seats were sourced from a 2015 Mustang and are fitted with Schroth harnesses. A center console was installed during the build, at which point the rear seats were reupholstered in black vinyl, the headliner, dash pad, and door panels were replaced, and tan carpets were installed.
