1985 Land Rover 110 TDi 5-Speed

This 1985 Land Rover 110 is a refurbished and modified example that was imported from the UK in 2013. After coming to the US, the seller had the truck disassembled, checked for rust, and repainted. The 2.5 liter turbodiesel inline-four is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission and was rebuilt and installed during the refurbishment. Other work included new axles, wheel bearings, brakes, rebuilt drive shaft and differentials, lights and lamps, a new clutch, and a rebuilt transfer box. Modifications include dual batteries, bull guard front bumper, brush guards, a skid plate, 38 gallon fuel tank, upgraded interior, and a Superwinch Talon 12.5 power winch with front and rear quick-connect mounts. The truck has travelled 8,600 miles since the work was completed.The repaint in Alpine White was done in 2013 after disassembly and inspection for rust. The wheel arches, roof, and grille are finished in contrasting black, and black checkered plates were added to the front fenders and rocker panels. The paint shows few flaws in picture other than some surface corrosion on exterior door hinge hardware. The headlights have been upgraded with LEDs and are protected by metal guards. The Superwinch Talon 12500 is a water-resistant power winch with quick-connect mounts for front and rear bumpers. It is accompanied by a snatch block, 2 shanks, tow rope, chain, and gloves.The exterior has been accessorized with black check-plate side steps, a hood-mount spare, front bull guard, roof rack, a 2� tow hitch, flex antenna, and rear ladder. A rear spare tire plate is mounted, and the swinging tire bracket is included in the sale. All five wheels are black Wolf steel wheels wearing BF Goodrich All-Terrain TA/KO tires with less than 9k miles of wear.The interior has been refreshed with new black carpet and seats reupholstered in grey vinyl. A matching cubby box and leather gearbox gaiter are installed between the front seats. A new grey headliner and visors were also installed, and the front seats are protected with Exmoor covers. An under-dash A/C system has been added and the renovated heating system is equipped with an auxiliary defroster. The Clarion Multi Media audio system includes a CD player, navigation system, and Sirius satellite radio. A day/night mirror and convex side-view mirrors have been added to improve driving visibility, and a mph speedometer was installed. An auxiliary gauge pod containing VDO boost, exhaust temp, and oil gauges has also been fitted.\The rear cabin provides seating for up to seven passengers, with three backseat buckets and twin jump-seat benches in the back, all of which were recovered in grey vinyl.The 2.5 liter turbodiesel inline-four was installed during the refurbishment. It was rebuilt with with new main bearings and pistons bored .020� over, as well as a rebuilt turbocharger and head. The 5-speed manual transmission was added at the same time and was fitted with a new clutch. Other mechanical service includes replacement of the fuel filter, fuel pump, oil pump, and muffler. A dual battery kit has also been installed. The underside shows light surface corrosion on the frame rails and some of the suspension components, and the inner fenders still display their original green body color.
