Description

The original 2. A few touch ups that have been reported, one on the right lower corner of the deck lid and one on the top edge of the hood. Three small dings caused by the 1994 Northridge earthquake can be seen on top of the passenger-side fender, door, and roof. The car originally came with 15x 5. 5 ventilated chrome steel wheels. Five new units were sourced from Benton Performance in Anaheim, California in September 2016 and are fitted with period correct Pirelli tires. Inside, the Black Leatherette (9822) interior has been well-preserved. The original upholstery, Perlon carpeting, and seatbelts are in good shape, with a few small holes in the carpet near the gas pedal and some cracks in the dash speaker grille. There is some original glue on the inside of the A-pillar, and the factory glue for the carpet in the trunk is also visible. The cords on the door pockets have lost elasticity, causing the door panels to sag a little. The only modification to the car is a Mecca head unit that was added sometime in the 1970s and is not working. The car was optioned with a 911S instrument panel and fuel tank. The odometer shows 15,783 miles and has rolled over once based on maintenance records. The original 2. 0-liter flat-six is paired to the original 4-speed manual transaxle. There is some sweating shown on the photos, but there are no oil drip marks under the car. Engine #6195719 can be seen above and is confirmed as original by the Porsche CoA. Transmission #7091032 is shown in the gallery and is also original. The build date was on December 20th, 1968, and optional equipment is confirmed above. A stamped original maintenance booklet shows the first service was in August 1969. Filed under: 911, 911 t, long hood, longhood
