The 1600cc twin cam engine is rebuilt with .20 oversize pistons. It makes great power and torque and runs smooth as can be. The 4-speed gearbox has perfect synchros and a new shifter bushing. It is perfect. The chassis and suspension are original Lotus. The handling is just as Colin Chapman intended. The disc brakes bring the car to a stop quickly, straight and without squeal. Finally, the closed hardtop design is weather-proof, quieter, and feels more solid than open cars. It is also more rare. The Lotus Yellow paint is very good. The black interior is also very good with an excellent wood dash. The dash top has no cracks. The headliner is clean and tight.
