The car is powered by a 2. 3-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and modifications include a Supersprint exhaust system, a Euro-spec intake, a Jim Conforti ECU chip, Bilstein Sport shocks, H&R springs, and an Evo 3-style under tray, carbon fiber splitter, rear spoiler, and carbon fiber brake cooling ducts. A repaint was carried out in 2008 while more recent work in July 2020 included servicing the air conditioning system and performing a North Carolina state inspection. The exterior was repainted its factory shade of Alpine White II in 2008 by Bassen Autobody Shop of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and a replacement hood with Evo 3 seals was also installed at this time. Exterior features include yellow-tinted Hella Euro-spec Ellipsoid headlights, along with an Evo 3-style under tray, carbon fiber front splitter, rear wing with an adjustable carbon fiber DTM flap, and carbon fiber brake ducts. The removed rear wing, clear headlights, an Evo 3-style rear wing flap, and fog lamps are included in the sale. The 15” basketweave wheels feature BMW center caps and are wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S-03 tires sized 205/55. The cabin features replacement sport seats reportedly sourced from another E30 M3 and reupholstered in Cardinal leather from GAHH, along with matching door panels, carpets, and a black dashboard and center console. Amenities include an onboard computer, a cassette stereo, Evo 3-style dead pedal, and power windows. The air conditioning system was recharged with R134a refrigerant in July 2020 and fitted with a replacement system relay, coolant temperature sensor, and evaporator temperature sensor.
