1960 Porsche 356

This 1960 Porsche 356B, 1600S has been stored in a hanger since 1981 and 88,200 miles. Originally Black with Red interior. This July we purchased the car and got her up and running. Starting with new Michelin XZX 165 SR 15 tires on her 4 1/2 wheels. With new rubber fuel line ends and rebuilding the fuel petcock the car fired up ( the gas tank was perfectly clean ). Then on to flushing the brake fluid, cleaning the pads and re packing the front wheel bearings. Then on to the CV boot replacements, flushing of the trans fluid, setting of the valves, plugs wires and oil change. The car was then running, shifting and driving great. Wipers, hand throttle, headlights, lighter, radio, parking brake, blinkers, interior lights, gauges, windows and seat all work properly. the doors, front and rear bonnets are original and stamped with matching numbers. radio is from 1974 and is operated off a 6 to 12 volt converter. The VIN # is 109726 , Engine # *85206* , Case # 35075 / 1600S 102The car comes with a used rear bumper and racing lap belts dated 1977.
