Description
That person and their spouse owned the car in California until the 1990s, after which it was relocated to San Diego. Finished in yellow with a black vinyl roof over black vinyl upholstery, the car is powered by a 273ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a four-barrel carburetor, bolt-on wheel covers, front disc brakes, reverse lights, air conditioning, an AM radio, a console shifter, and a tachometer. This Valiant-based fastback was finished from the factory in a special-order color of yellow, and it was stripped and repainted during the aforementioned refurbishment. The black vinyl top was preserved during the work, and the windshield, bumpers, grilles, and turn-signal lenses were replaced. Features include chrome bumpers, bright trim, reverse lights, a remote-adjustable driver-side mirror, and a squared-off tailpipe. Body-color 14â?³ steel wheels wear bolt-on covers and are mounted with 195/70 Yokohama blue-line tires. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Appointments include a console shifter, front seatbelts, a Valiant Transaudio AM radio, a padded dashboard, and variable-speed windshield wipers.
